The Meinl Wind Gong is a flat-faced gong with a smooth, brushed bronze finish — a classic, versatile instrument for sound healing, meditation, and ceremonial work. Unlike the Chau Tam Tam's deep fundamental, the wind gong produces a wash of sustained, overtone-rich sound that builds quickly and lingers, perfect for creating atmospheric textures in gong baths.

Available in an exceptional range of sizes from a compact 12" to a commanding 48" — suitable for personal practice, intimate sessions, and large-scale ceremonial sound work.

Each Meinl Wind Gong includes:

  • A gong mallet, sized for the gong (12" - 48")
  • A gong cover (20"- 48" sizes only)

Orders usually ship Same Day when ordered before 1pm PST. However, shipping time can range between 24-48 hours of purchase, depending on the size of the order and stock quantity.

We use UPS Ground for orders in the US 48 contiguous states and ship M-F.
