Love this mallet. It soft and light but it looks a nice little punch with my larger 40” & 50” gongs. It sounds great on the smaller 19” ones too.

I personally got the Red Mallet. I find i use it more than the smaller one that came with my purchase. Sounds almost the same but I sense a deeper sound that I really like. I'm looking into getting other mallets soon, to explore all the other sounds it can create. I was a believer I could only create 1 sound but I found out you can get many different sounds and not just from different mallets but the tension you hold the mallet. I definitely will be buying others when my budget is back on track.
I ordered a gong, stand and several mallets from the gong shop. They were very helpful with my back and forth questions. They went out of their way to make sure I received what I wanted/needed. I LOVE my gong!! The soft resonance mallet has a special ability for eliciting different sounds from the gong. My first gong and can’t stay away from it! My favorite mallet for new melodious sounds. Wow, this mallet is a beast! Just what I needed for my 42” gong. It has very low attack and brings out deep resonant fundamentals. You can also use the other side if you want to a little more attack.
Beautiful and minimalist, allowing the gong to stand out. Great recommendation based on my need for a simple stand. Great quality and SUPER easy to assemble in quick steps, only takes seconds. My gong is 28 inch.
I needed a stand on short notice for a 32” gong I purchased. I was traveling to a yoga festival to play. Trey was able to get the stand shipped on a short turn around to meet my need. Grateful for that.
The Chronos stands are good in a pinch, particularly when traveling. They tend to be a tight fir when playing so if the gong is in motion it may contact the stand

Wow. Easy to assemble, break down, and reassemble. Fantastic options for these stands like angel wings to allow an additional gong on each side up to 32” as a bonus, wheels to easily move around, gong mallets etc bags available, and chime hangers too. Wonderful quality at a great price!!!!

I chose Philosophy, where I model my exploration of the "Umbrun Vignette" where phonon influence found in laser cavitiy models' were exploited using sound (e.g. phonons; hense, "phonography").
A good pump laser involved umbrun materials of heavy metals, like thorium (radioactive; hense, old gas light mantels). That, because of the excess of broad band electron orbitals create the whitest light.
This particular gong was picked to help demonstrate the ancillary phenomena I find dancing around the "Umbrin Vignette" involving the intention of the individual.
A particular laser-enhasing design I found suseptible to illintentions of a particular coworker--but only so long as it remained in the line of his sight!
I have found publications citing similar phenomena, but those might be considered esoteric by nature of associated published materials; so I have created my own methods of research to exploit the phenomena, where those who would interfere with healing can be addressed remotely from the illintendor.
The spectral output of this particular gong is suitable to demonstrate quiessence methods of shifting energies into the higher band--I call "ping" @ about 2.3Khz is what I recall.
When I heard the rare ping, I knew this was the gong for me.

I was a bit apprehensive about buying this stand because I was worried about its sturdiness as a "travel stand." Honestly, I'm delighted! It's holding up my 40" gong perfectly with no issues of rattling and it feels solid.
Tip: Mark the vertical bar where you want it to land every time, so that setting it up is even easier.
