Gongs from Nepal are made from B20 bronze. After applying a patina to color the gong, Nepalese Thangka and Mithila artists hand paint a design on the gong before etching or engraving. It is a laborious process carrying out this centuries old art form. Each gong is truly a unique piece of Nepalese art.
