Shipping & Returns
Shipping. Orders placed before 1pm PST on weekdays usually ship the same day — UPS Ground within the US, FedEx/DHL/UPS internationally (international duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility). Every gong is packed by the same people who selected it.
Returns. Unplayed items in original condition may be returned within 30 days (return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility; sale items and gongs played with friction mallets are final sale). Not sure it’s the right gong? Listen to our recorded audio samples, call us, or visit a showroom before you order — matching people with the right gong is what we do.

Crafted with a felted head and a sturdy handle, these beaters deliver a balanced strike that produces warm, sustained tones — ideal for both gentle ambient playing and powerful crescendos.
Available in two sizes to match a wide range of gongs and playing styles:
- Small (MGB-S) — Ideal for smaller gongs and lighter, more articulate strikes.
- Large (MGB-L) — Ideal for larger gongs and producing deep, full-bodied tones.
Each beater is handcrafted in Germany to Meinl Sonic Energy's exacting standards, ensuring consistent quality and a comfortable feel in the hand.

Shipping Policy
USA Shipping
Orders usually ship Same Day when ordered before 1pm PST. However, shipping time can range between 24-48 hours of purchase, depending on the size of the order and stock quantity.
We use UPS Ground for orders in the US 48 contiguous states and ship M-F.
International Orders
We use Fedex, DHL, and UPS for International Orders, depending on which carrier has the most economical rates.
NOTE: our shipping prices for International Orders DO NOT include any duty or customs / brokerage fees the recipient country or the shipping carrier may charge.
The customer is 100% responsible for ALL additional duty or customs / brokerage fees.
