The Gong Shop Chronos CA40 Gong Stand fits gongs up to a 40" in diameter. This gong stand features interchangeable hanging hooks to accommodate different rope lengths, rubber feet that will protect hard floors, and durable black powder coated square tubing.

Gong not included.

Sturdy but needs improvements

Very solid, but shakes because the feet aren't quite wide enough to withstand playing the gong pretty hard. From a structural standpoint, just a few inches might stablize it better.

The major design flaw is the inability to extend the stand upwards.
As it stands, you can only play the gong sitting down.

A simple solution would be to extend the top arms that goes down into the side rails 12, 18 or 24" and then put another threaded hole on the sides so a 2nd bolt can stabalize the side extension rails

I love doing business with these folks :-)

but if, you are going to always be seated, it is a good stand.

Good Value

Purchased for 40" gong. Need to flex the final assembled unit a bit to get it more stable. With weight of gong on it - staying firmly in place.
