Shipping. Orders placed before 1pm PST on weekdays usually ship the same day — UPS Ground within the US, FedEx/DHL/UPS internationally (international duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility). Every gong is packed by the same people who selected it.
Returns. Unplayed items in original condition may be returned within 30 days (return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility; sale items and gongs played with friction mallets are final sale). 20" Chau Gong with Beater
Chau Gongs, also called Tam-Tams, are one of the most familiar looking Chinese gongs. The Chau Gong produces a full and sustained wash of musical overtones. It's a centerpiece in the home, office, concert hall or outdoors.
The Chau Gong has a rim around the outside edge with a very distinctive bullseye in the center. You can play it in the center, middle, edge, or experiment for a variety of sounds.
Made from B20 cast bronze (80% copper and 20% tin), the gong is hand hammered and lathed while heating and cooling the metal.
Chau Gongs are available in a range of sizes (4" - 80"), with each size having its own distinct sound.
Includes a Gong Mallet and string for hanging.

Orders usually ship Same Day when ordered before 1pm PST. However, shipping time can range between 24-48 hours of purchase, depending on the size of the order and stock quantity.
We use UPS Ground for orders in the US 48 contiguous states and ship M-F.
International Orders
We use Fedex, DHL, and UPS for International Orders, depending on which carrier has the most economical rates.
