The makers behind GongWerkstatt bring over a decade of dedicated gong-building experience. Their journey began in 2013 at the renowned gong manufacturer Paiste, where they trained extensively in the traditional methods of gong production, developing a deep understanding of the craft—particularly the delicate art of precise tuning.

In 2021, the team continued refining their expertise while working with Gongland, where innovative ideas and experimental approaches expanded their sonic palette and deepened their understanding of gong acoustics.

Since 2024, GongWerkstatt has been producing its own line of instruments using these refined techniques and uncompromising standards. Every GongWerkstatt Gong is carefully shaped, tuned, and finished by hand, ensuring that no two instruments are exactly alike.
