Distant sun Chau gong

I love my chau gong from the gong shop! Their customer service was excellent. They played the gong for me in a video before I bought it. It sounded just as beautiful, if not more so in my hands. The strikers and wands they recommended were perfect for this gong. The bag I bought with it is also of high quality. Everything was reasonably priced. Overall a wonderful experience!

Distant Sun 36"

Wow! I'm very happy with my new Distant Sun 36". Garrett especially helped a great deal in assisting me to choose the best gong for my budget and for the sound I was looking for. This is my 3rd gong from The Gong Shop(and there will be more!) I'm very new to gongs but the team there was amazing and made it a very easy process. Thanks again and Happy "Gonging" everybody!

Sun Chow Gong rocks my world!

I listened to many gongs with headphones on line, but nothing quite prepares you for the real thing! I am still discovering more nuances of my gong every day. I got the 32” one and I am amazed at the sustain that goes on for over a minute. Playing with some scraper mallets is so much fun and I never realized the complexity of a gong. The staff at The Gong Shop was very nice and helped me pick out the right gong! I am extremely happy with my purchase and look forward to listening to my gong for a long time!
